Overview
Part-time role: 19 hours per week, with full flexibility required. As a Housekeeping Assistant at HC-One, kindness is at the heart of everything we do. We care across Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist homes, creating a clean, safe, and welcoming home for our Residents. Your work will make a real difference every day.
Key responsibilities
* Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas
* Following cleaning schedules and tasks set by the team lead
* Using products safely and following hygiene procedures
* Supporting infection control and safety standards
* Helping with laundry and linen care
* Reporting any issues or repairs as needed
Qualifications and requirements
* Some housekeeping experience is helpful, but full training is provided
* Be organised, manage your time well, and work with attention to detail
* Bring a positive attitude and be kind and respectful in every conversation—with Residents, visitors, and your team
* Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility; able to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect
* Attend safeguarding training appropriate to the role and undertake additional training as required
* Ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken
