Shuttering Carpenter – Immediate Start
Port Talbot - £25 £26 per hour (CIS) - Long hours, immediate start, ongoing work
The Opportunity
We are urgently looking for experienced Shuttering Carpenters to join a live project in Port Talbot.
This is a fast-moving site with immediate start required (we need reliable individuals who can step in and deliver from day one).
The Role
- Install and strike formwork / shuttering systems to spec
- Work from drawings and site instructions
- Deliver high-quality concrete formwork within programme
- Work alongside site teams and other trades
- Maintain strong health & safety standards on a live site
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter on live construction / civils sites
- Ability to work from drawings independently
- Valid CSCS card
- Own tools and PPE
- Reliable and able to commit to long hours
Preferred
- Experience on large-scale or industrial sites (e.g. steelworks, civils, major projects)
- Able to integrate quickly into an existing team
What You’ll Get
- Immediate start (urgent requirement)
- 10-hour days as standard
- Overtime available (including Saturdays where required)
- 3‑4 weeks initially, with further work for reliable operatives
- Lodge options available for travelling trades (short-term basis)
