Overview
Mid Sussex Health Care seeks an enthusiastic salaried GP for a fixed‑term contract until April 2027 with 6 sessions per week on a 22 000‑patient list.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑standard care to registered and temporary patients.
* Conduct telephone and face‑to‑face consultations and triage.
* Prescribe and manage repeat prescriptions using the practice formulary.
* Complete clinical and non‑clinical administrative duties promptly.
* Adopt professional, autonomous decision‑making for presenting problems.
* Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
* Provide counselling, health education and referral to other care providers as appropriate.
* Maintain clear, contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards.
* Participate in BMA safe working guidance and specialist interest development where possible.
Qualifications
* Newly qualified or longer‑qualified GP.
* Competent in SystmOne clinical system.
* Prescribing and clinical admin experience aligned with practice protocols.
