Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, supporting their development through play and structured activities.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting.
* Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
* Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment.
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Skills
* Strong management and leadership abilities to guide and support junior staff members.
* Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
