We are working alongside a dynamic and inspiring secondary school in Mid Cornwall. The school offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by supporting the educational, social, emotional, communication, and physical development of learners with Special Educational Needs. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join the team.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with passionate teachers to adapt and bring the curriculum to life, break down barriers, and unlock each learner's potential. You will actively participate in organizing class activities, lead engaging small group and 1:1 sessions, and help create a vibrant learning environment where every learner can thrive, feel valued, and achieve beyond expectations.
The role requires relevant qualifications; however, experience in a similar role is desirable. Transferable experience includes working in care or supporting others. A strong desire to assist in the learning and development of children and a commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children are essential.
