Are you passionate about turning data into meaningful insights? We're looking for a
Data Analyst
to support the Justice segment at
HMP Bronzefield
, helping to shape operational decisions and drive continuous improvement. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for collecting, analysing, and presenting high-quality data to support contractual performance, strategic planning, and day-to-day operations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll identify trends, highlight risks, and provide clear recommendations that contribute to better outcomes — both for the business and the people we serve.

HMP & YOI Bronzefield is the largest women's prison in Europe, accommodating a diverse and complex population of women, from restricted status requiring the highest security levels, to women on remand (often experiencing custody for the first time), as well as supporting those with chronic mental health conditions.

Main Responsibilities
Collect, Clean & Manage Data:
Gather data from multiple sources, validate and organise it to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability.
Analyse & Interpret Insights
Use statistical and analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that drive informed decision-making.
Reporting & Visualisation
Create insightful reports and dashboards (e.g., in Power BI) to support contract performance, internal reviews, and stakeholder engagement.
Monitor KPIs & Performance
Track contract and operational KPIs, identify risks or service failures, and support the calculation of penalties or credits where applicable.
Support Strategy & Governance
Prepare and present data insights for senior leadership, client reviews, and performance boards, aligning reporting with Sodexo's strategic objectives.
Drive Continuous Improvement
Recommend enhancements to data processes, reporting structures, and performance systems to boost efficiency, compliance, and outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills with experience handling large datasets.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power BI, to create clear, user-friendly data visualizations.
* Skilled at translating complex data into actionable insights and making informed recommendations.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, experienced in presenting to diverse audiences.
* Reliable, discreet, and able to work independently with strong attention to detail and time management.
* Flexible and proactive, capable of prioritising workload to meet urgent business needs efficiently.
