Spinwell is recruiting for a Facilities Coordinator for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF FACILITIES COORDINATOR
The Facilities Co-ordinator is a key role within Estates & Facilities Department, supporting operational policing by providing officers with a safe, comfortable, effective working environment. This important customer facing role provides a variety of services from day-to-day activities such as minor maintenance, H&S auditing, administrative support and contractor management; to larger works including office relocations, site improvements and assisting with refurbishment projects.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OF FACILITIES COORDINATOR
* Previous experience of working in the facilities environment, with a desire to learn and undertake relevant training to expand knowledge and experience is essential, previous practical experience is preferred.
* Full driving licence with the ability to pass a police driving assessment. The role will require you to drive a range of different vehicles.
* Good knowledge of workplace safety needed. Knowledge and experience of the practical application of Health & Safety legislation and safe operating procedures in the workplace is preferred. Specific H&S knowledge, in areas including Manual Handling, Legionella,...
