About the Venue:

Overlooking Sydney’s stunning Botany Bay, Novotel Sydney Brighton Beach is a 4.5-star beachfront hotel currently undergoing a major transformation. With upgraded guest rooms, stylish event spaces, and exciting new dining concepts on the way, the hotel is being positioned as one of NSW’s top resort-style destinations.

About the Role:

We are currently hiring for two key roles within our Front Office team:

A hands-on leadership role for an experienced hospitality professional ready to oversee daily operations and mentor the team. You'll support the Rooms Division Manager in achieving service, operational, and financial goals.

A development opportunity ideal for those with front office or guest services experience looking to step into a leadership pathway. You'll take charge of shifts, support colleagues, and help drive exceptional guest experiences across the board.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support, guide, and motivate the front office team to consistently deliver outstanding service
• Ensure efficient and accurate check-in, check-out, and reservation procedures
• Respond to guest queries and issues in a professional, solutions-focused manner
• Communicate with housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B teams to coordinate guest needs
• Maintain front office procedures, including cash handling and end-of-day auditing
• Coach and train new team members in line with brand and service standards
• Contribute to rosters and shift coverage based on business demands
• Uphold workplace safety and hygiene requirements
• Be a role model for exceptional guest interaction, service recovery, and attention to detail

Note: Supervisor applicants will take on a greater focus on team development, strategic planning, and department-level decision-making. There will be opportunities to be trained as a Duty Manager and further develop leadership skills.

About You:

• Previous experience in a hotel front office or guest services role
• Supervisory or team-leading experience highly regarded (especially for Supervisor role)
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and multitasking skills
• Guest-focused with a polished, professional presentation
• Confident using front office systems (Opera experience is a plus)
• Flexible availability for rotating rosters, including nights and weekends
• A positive, can-do attitude with a desire to grow in hospitality leadership
