We are partnering with a US firm in London who are looking for a Commercial Litigation Associate to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented solicitor to join an internationally recognised litigation team with a strong reputation in the market.
They are seeking a professional with 3–5 years' PQE at a comparable law firm who is looking to take the next step in their career.
Typical duties for the role will include:
* Manage client and matter files, ensuring full compliance with firm policies and legal standards.
* Provide expert legal advice, including drafting complex legal documents and supporting applications and hearings.
* Collaborate with senior lawyers, colleagues, and clients on complex disputes across all stages of litigation, including pre-action work, disclosure, and trial preparation.
* Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients and internal teams.
The successful candidate will have:
* Qualified Solicitor of England and Wales with 3–5 years’ PQE
* A strong understanding of litigation processes, with the ability to assist on complex matters across courts, tribunals, and arbitrations
* Experience in contentious tax matters and disputes involving copyright, data protection, defamation, privacy and breach of confidence
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for providing clear advice and building strong client rapport
* A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
* A collaborative mindset and a strong commitment to teamwork
