Location: Leeds.
Salary: £13.45 per hour (£26,300 per annum). Permanent, full time (37.5 hours per week). No CoS provided.
Role
As a Reablement Worker, you support older people aged 55+ to live independently in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
* Support customers in their own apartments who have a range of support needs including frailty and dementia.
* Help customers regain or maintain independence by carrying out daily living activities.
* Carry out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews.
* Provide personal care including bathing, toileting and dressing for customers with more complex needs.
* Assist with tasks based on personal support plans, ensuring customers feel valued, respected and maintain their dignity.
Qualifications and Experience
* Care Certificate or willingness to complete within the first 12 weeks of employment.
* Level 2 Diploma in Care or equivalent experience in a personal care environment, or willingness to study for the diploma.
* Passion for supporting customers to live their best life.
* Experience working on own initiative, remaining calm under pressure and a resilient approach.
* Experience in risk management, supporting and empowering customers through care plans.
* Ability to recognise that each customer is different and adapt a flexible, personal approach.
Practical Information
* 24‑hour support provided.
* Flexible start or finish times as required by the customers.
* Shifts include regular training and team meetings.
* Technical skills for creating and updating support plans.
* Requires an Enhanced DBS check, which will be paid for.
