* Management of OEB trading for a specific category. Through communication between the O&S Range team and the Banner teams, identifying the opportunity and crafting the action plan to achieve it.
* Working with the Cat Director on the creation and management of the OEB 3-5-year Strategic plan. Reporting on the progress as required, running any remedial actions vital and updating the plan each year towards the longer term.
* Works with other Category Trading Managers, develops the Group OEB Trading Guidelines and framework.
* Manages the process for the creation of Special Buy offers by the category team via the Sourcing offices and the presentation and adoption of these products into the Banner Trading Plan.
* Creation of the trading plan for each Category to feed into the Group OEB Trading Plan. (There is also a requirement to liaise closely with each Banner Market Director for this)
* Track and analyse the OEB range performance, sharing insights and issues with Category and Marketing Trading Leads and follows-through until resolution
* Supports Head of to analyse Business Performance and handles communication of actions through Product Leads
* Actively participates in the Monthly Business Review
