What You Will Do
The Service Engineer performs required preventive and corrective maintenance on STERIS/Cantel product lines and field troubleshooting primarily in the service area.
 * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on STERIS/Cantel product lines, related product lines, and competitive equipment, including disassembling, replacing, or repairing defective parts; rewiring or reassembling; troubleshooting, calibrating; and certifying equipment ready for use with standard and specialized tools and test equipment (e.g., schematics, diagrams, technical manuals).
 * Perform administrative duties such as computer synchronization daily, completing service reports, maintaining tools and parts inventory to prescribed levels as required by Team Leaders and Service Manager.
 * Use corporate applications (Siebel, Oracle, Sales Connection, others) to handle daily activity.
 * Develop and maintain effective, communicative relationships with customers, managers, support functions, and the sales organization.
 * Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor when working with customers, contractors, management, and fellow employees, following all safety protocols and procedures.
 * Provide solutions to customers to enhance sales and growth in the field through effective positioning of STERIS/Cantel products and services, identifying opportunities, and passing leads to management and sales.
 * Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager.
Required Experience
 * Minimum of 2 years of industry‑related experience and a general knowledge of operating washing and sterlization processing units.
 * Valid driver’s license required.
Preferred Experience
 * Good troubleshooting skills and proven organizational attitude.
 * Computer literacy with strong oral and written communication skills.
 * Proficient technical knowledge of the English language.
 * Completion of a recognized mechanical, electrical, or electronic technical training scheme.
