We are looking for a Program Manager with experience of a manufacturing environment to manage a cross-functional team of both experienced professionals and team leaders; manage medium-sized program or multiple smaller programs; monitor strategic planning efforts; present progress reports; recommend proactive solutions for program problems; manage the P&L; manage sub-tier suppliers; support contract negotiation
What you will do
1. Leads programs to ensure adherence to program plans, schedules and budgets in an Integrated Program Team working with Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Commercial, Finance, Quality, Aftermarket and Business Development
2. Manages the P&L of the programs to ensure profitability targets are met and manages multiple sub-tier suppliers
3. Develops milestones, program plans, schedules and budgets to ensure that the organization’s objectives are met
4. Consolidates and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the programs
5. Monitors strategic planning efforts for and proactively drives programs
6. Demonstrates continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality
7. Identifies and reacts to program problems and recommends solutions, such as allocation of resources, changing contractual specifications or coordinating responses to customer action items
8. Supports the development of new business opportunities
9. Acts as internal and external customer focal
10. Supports the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes, including coordinating preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, operation budgets, specification and financial conditions of contracts to ensure legal compliance and to protect interests
11. Manages program scope increase or decrease via change management processes
12. Is a change agent to drive continuous improvements in a highly challenging environment

Experience & Qualifications we prefer:
Education
16. Educated to HND/ Degree level in a technical / STEM discipline.
Related Experience
17. Computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite and JDE/SAP)
18. Minimum of two years experience of running programs / multiple projects within a manufacturing environment
19. Commercial knowledge/awareness and a strong focus on the delivery of objectives
20. Good program planning skills (Microsoft Project or Primavera)
21. Knowledge of Earned Value Management
22. Proven strong program management skills and experience in leading programs
23. Proven people leadership in a matrix organization
24. External and internal customer exposure experience
25. Knowledge of NPI product lifecycle – JDP, PDR, CDR and FAI
Certification(s) / License(s)
26. Formal PM training / accreditation such as PMP or APM highly desirable
