QHSE Manager Energy from Waste
Up to £51,500 + benefits

SCINERGY are recruiting for an QHSE Manager to join the leadership team of an Energy from Waste power station near Kidderminster.
This role focuses on leading health, safety, environmental and quality compliance across a high-risk, process-driven site. The successful candidate will act as the principal advisor to the Plant Manager and wider site team, ensuring legal compliance, audit readiness and a strong safety culture across all operations.
The role will involve:
Leading all QHSE activities across the EfW facility
Acting as the focal point for health, safety, environmental and quality matters
Ensuring compliance with UK H&S and environmental legislation
Supporting and leading ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 audit processes
Conducting inspections, audits, workplace monitoring and producing clear reports
Leading and supporting incident investigations, including RIDDOR reporting
Liaising with regulatory bodies including HSE and emergency services
Line management of the site Environmental Technician and covering when required
Coaching and supporting managers, supervisors and site personnel on best practice
Driving continuous improvement initiatives across site
To be considered for this role, you should have:
Proven experience in a similar QHSE position within an industrial or heavy process environment e.g. power, waste, recycling, quarry, cement etc
NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum
Strong working knowledge of UK H&S and environmental legislation
Experience supporting or leading ISO audits -9001, 14001 and 45001
Strong communication and influencing skills
