Job Title: Waitress/Waiter (Food & Alcohol Service)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, experienced, and professional Waitress/Waiter to join our restaurant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, including alcoholic drinks, and ensuring that guests have an outstanding dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet customers in a friendly and timely manner.
* Take and relay food and drink orders accurately.
* Serve food and beverages, including alcoholic drinks, in compliance with local laws and regulations.
* Offer menu recommendations and knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and other alcoholic drinks.
* Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, and operate POS systems.
* Clear tables, reset them for the next guests, and maintain a clean dining area.
* Ensure that guests are of legal age to consume alcohol, following proper ID verification protocols.
* Respond to customer inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
* Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Work as part of a team with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other front-of-house employees.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a waitress or waiter in a restaurant setting (preferred).
* Must be of legal age to serve alcohol (age varies by location).
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Basic math skills for handling cash and credit transactions.
* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
* Familiarity with food and beverage pairings, and basic knowledge of different types of alcohol (preferred).
Skills:
* Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience.
* Attention to detail, especially when handling orders and payments.
* Ability to work efficiently in a team and adapt to a dynamic environment.
* Willingness to take on additional tasks when necessary, such as assisting with setup or cleanup.
Work Conditions:
* Flexible work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: £55.00-£120.00 per day
