Job Description
The jobholder is responsible for producing accurate surveys and design drawings of plant and equipment within our Ardagh Glass Packaging Europe (AGP-E) division.
Responsibilities
* Produce accurate design drawings using CAD (Computer Aided Design) software as requested by the senior designer and/or Project Engineer.
* Carry out on-site surveys and 3D scans at any of the Ardagh Group glass manufacturing facilities.
* Provide project support to project engineers across the facilities.
* Identify and suggest improvements to designs to achieve the most suitable solutions for the objectives.
* Prepare supporting documents for design drawings using software such as Word and Excel.
* Maintain effective communication with colleagues to ensure team cohesion.
Requirements
* Experience with CAD (Computer Aided Design) software.
* Good understanding of the glass manufacturing process and ergonomics.
* Proficiency in Office 365 (Word, Excel).
* Ability to interpret technical drawings.
* Willingness to travel as required.
* Ability to operate survey equipment such as laser levelers, 3D scanners, and measuring devices (training provided if needed).
