Interim Finance Manager

London - 1-2 days in office per week

£ per day

3 month contract

We Do Group is supporting an international financial services group with the hire of an Interim Finance Manager to support the wider international finance function during a period of increased workloads.

You will be joining an established international organisation, operating well developed and stable ERP systems and processes, with a remit to support the Group FC with a broad range of monthly accounting and reporting requirements

We are looking for an experienced, fully qualified Financial Accounting professional who has had experience workings across the full monthly accounting cycle in complex international organisations

* Qualified accountant
* Prior experience of monthly accounting/reporting/analysis for international entities in a complex organisation
* Prior experience of supporting interim audit
* Hands on accountant - comfortable as an individual contributor
* Prior experience in financial services sector, ideally in higher transactional industries e.g. banking, payments etc.

The Role

The successful Interim Finance Manager will lead the following:

* Proposing and posting journal entries across various areas of the group close
* Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations to a high quality with external support obtained.
* Monthly analysis and explanation of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet movements vs Budgets
* Business Partnering across multiple regions: Europe, North America, APAC
* Take responsibility for facilitating interim or ad-hoc audit on one or more group entities
* Prepare financial statements for one or more group entities
* Support system (netsuite) and process improvement projects as required
* Assist Group financial controller, Finance Director or Group CFO on other key projects where required

Your Profile

We are looking for an experienced, fully qualified, accounting professional who has worked with in complex organisations with international entities.

The business culture is fast paced and collaborative so you'll need to have the ability to work at pace, challenge internal and stakeholders when appropriate and pro-actively seek improvements wherever possible.

Salary & Benefits

£ per day - 3 month contract

This role is offered on a hybrid basis - in office presence is required once per week with occasional need for a second day in office.
