Role and Responsibilities
As a valued member of our clients support team, you will work directly with students, providing individual and small group support tailored to their unique needs. Youll help them excel academically, build essential social skills, and thrive emotionally. Youll collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals, contributing to a nurturing and effective learning environment. Youll also maintain detailed records of student progress, ensuring consistent monitoring and effective interventions.
Main tasks include

Provide individual and small group support to students with special educational needs.
*
Assist students with academic work, social skills, and emotional well:being.
*
Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
*
Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour.
*
Contribute to the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
*
Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
*
Minimum 6 months experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a UK school.
*
Valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness ).
*
Eligibility to work in the UK.
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.
*
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
*
Strong organisational and time:management skills.
*
Experience working with a range of SEN needs (desirable).
*
Knowledge of relevant safeguarding procedures (desirable).
*
A positive and proactive approach to problem:solving.
