About Us
Ashley's House CIC is a nurturing and empowering provision for autistic young women aged 13–25 (with mild to moderate needs). We are passionate about creating a safe, neurodiversity-affirming space where every young woman can thrive, build independence, and feel celebrated for who she is.
We are now seeking a Weekend Club Manager to lead our weekend respite service in Northwood. This is more than a job it's an opportunity to shape lives, inspire a team, and help grow a unique community.
Role Summary
The Weekend Club Manager will oversee the delivery of our weekend day service, ensuring sessions are engaging, supportive, and tailored to the needs of autistic young women. You will lead a small team, manage day-to-day (weekend) operations, and maintain a safe, inclusive environment where every participant feels valued and empowered.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the weekend club sessions for autistic young women (13–25).
* Create and deliver activities that support life skills, independence, and wellbeing.
* Supervise and support a small, dedicated staff team.
* Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and organisational policies are followed.
* Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and professionals.
* Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
* Foster a positive, neurodiversity-affirming environment.
Skills & Experience
Experience working with autistic young people or those with SEND.
Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Ability to plan and deliver engaging, structured activities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A warm, supportive, and neurodiversity-affirming approach.
Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety practices.
