SEND Tutor
Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils and Schools throughout the UK. We have a high demand for one-to-one Tutors with SEN experience in the Norfolk Area.
The Opportunity
As a SEND Tutor, you must be able to create, plan, and deliver 1:1 lessons that are tailored to each student. The aim of tuition is to support the re-integration process of education. The tuition replaces school for these young people, and each individual is commissioned a certain number of hours. Prospero will work closely to monitor progress with each pupil by asking you to submit weekly reports.
Contract/Position Details:
* Location: Cromer
* Position: SEND Tutor
* Type of work: Contract
* Start Date: ASAP
* Setting: Student's home, local library, or school
* Duration: Until the student receives a school placement
* Contract type: Temporary
* Hours: Ranging from 6-30 hours per week
* Rate of pay: From £21.30 to £25 per hour
Your Role:
* Deliver one-to-one or small group tuition supporting students with SEND, focusing on building confidence, teaching life skills, safe community access, simple cooking, and fostering independence.
* Develop and implement personalised lesson plans that address individual learning gaps.
* Monitor student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback to students and their families.
Eligibility:
* Child-related or education qualification.
* Possess UK education experience.
* Experience working with SEND.
* Hold the right to work in the UK.
* Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to process a new application.
* Able to reference the last two years of employment.
