Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Oldham
Salary: £450 - £500 per week dependant on experience and qualifications.
The School and Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team this September, support children exhibiting challenging behaviours. This is an exciting opportunity to support children in their learning and development at a crucial stage in their education. Are you equipped to assist with lesson preparation for SEN children, helping to get children ready to participate, pay attention, and contribute. The school in Oldham will require you to provide one-on-one support for SEN students as they work in small groups with varying needs. Manage classroom activities, ensuring a positive understanding of the classroom boundaries are vital skills needed.
Hours of work 8:30am – 3:30pm - Full time 5 days per week from September 25.
Requirements
The requested skillset the desired Teaching Assistant you will require.
1. Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
2. A deep understanding of the National Curriculum framework or a willingness to learn this.
3. A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
4. A positive, patient, and compassionate approach, with a strong commitment to professional development and learning.
5. Demonstrate strong classroom management skills to ensure a positive and focused learning atmosphere
