The Role
Join our team as an IT Service Desk Analyst and play a key role in providing first- and second-line IT support to our Ross & Catherall site and the wider Doncasters team. You'll handle both incidents and service requests, offering support across hardware, software, and network applications. Using your problem-solving skills, you'll diagnose and resolve issues, escalating them when necessary. Communication skills will be essential as you keep employees updated on progress and resolutions.
In addition to service desk support, you'll contribute to system administration activities, including server and network checks, backup monitoring, and patch management. You'll also ensure IT hardware is installed, maintained, and compliant with security standards.
You will also produce and maintain documentation such as user guides and standard operating procedures to enable the continued smooth operations of the team.

To succeed in this role, you will have experience working in a service desk or IT support role providing 1st or 2nd line support and communication and customer service skills to deliver this support. This role will utilise Manage Engine suite, so experience using this tool is advantageous.
