What will I do as an Optical and Hearing Assistant?
You will be the first point of contact for our customers, setting a welcoming tone for their visit, as personalising the customer experience is central to our values. This role is crucial to our family business, which has expanded to 35 branches since 1928.
Key responsibilities include conducting pre-screening assessments, performing retinal imaging examinations with OCT and Optomap equipment, and participating in ongoing technical and personal development.
We offer a wide range of frames and accessories from top brands, providing bespoke advice tailored to customers' prescription, style, and budget. Your expert support will contribute to our customers' complete hearing and eye care journey.
Am I suitable?
This part-time role is based in our Marlow branch, working 4 days per week, Monday to Saturday. We seek candidates with strong customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile. Experience in retail, hospitality, or caregiving environments is desirable but not essential.
