Drainage Engineer
Matlock (Hybrid Working) – 2 days per week in the office
6 Month Contract with potential to extend
Inside IR hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage cyclic, reactive, and planned works on the highway drainage network
* Undertake site inspections and surveys as required
* Support the collection and management of data relating to highway drainage assets
* Provide timely and appropriate responses to customer and service user enquiries
Skills & Experience Required:
* BTec Higher in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with relevant post-qualification experience
* Strong technical and practical problem-solving abilities
* Experience in highway drainage asset management and maintenance, or transferable skills from a similar field
These roles will work closely with other services across the Highways Division to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
