The role:
4. Act as a Firewatcher on site, monitoring all hot works and ensuring work is carried out safely at all times
5. Maintain a constant watch for fire hazards during and after hot works operations
6. Ensure all safety procedures, permits, and site rules are followed
7. Work in accordance with risk assessments and carry out your own where required
8. Communicate effectively with site management and operatives to maintain a safe working environment
9. Keep work areas clear of hazards and report any issues immediately
10. Support site teams with general duties when required by the site agent or manager
About you:
11. Must hold a valid ECITB Firewatcher qualification/card
12. Must be able to provide two relevant commercial references
13. Strong awareness of health and safety on site
14. Positive attitude and strong work ethic
15. Reliable, vigilant, and able to always follow site procedures
