Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Site based, commutable from Thetford, Bury St Edmunds, Diss, Newmarket and surrounding areas.
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Monday to Friday, Days Shift Pattern + No Call Out Rota + No Night Work + Holiday + Pension + Benefits

This well-established company specializes in high-volume manufacturing and supplies to a range of industries. They are experiencing a period of growth and are looking to add an additional Maintenance Fitter to their team.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Carrying out maintenance on a variety of mechanical construction and process equipment.
2. Involvement in welding and fabrication.
3. Carrying out some installation work as required.

THE ROLE:
1. Maintenance and fitting of a variety of mechanical and process equipment.
2. Primarily mechanical bias maintenance activities.
3. Welding and fabrication.
THE PERSON:
1. Mechanical Fitter/Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
2. Prior experience working in heavy industry, manufacturing, or similar.
3. Candidates from Plant Fitters, Agricultural Engineers, or Ex Forces are encouraged to apply and will be offered training.
4. Must be happy to work at height.
