We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic Server to join our friendly team. In this role, you will be essential in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere and delivering outstanding hospitality in both our bar and restaurant areas. You'll take orders, serve food and drinks, support the bar and kitchen, and help maintain a clean, lively environment. Your contribution will ensure every guest enjoys a memorable restaurant dining and social experience.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome guests with a positive, friendly attitude.
* Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
* Serve meals, pints, wines, and other drinks promptly, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards.
* Assist behind the bar when needed, including pouring drinks and restocking.
* Help with basic kitchen duties and restocking supplies as required.
* Keep tables, chairs, bar areas, and dining spaces clean and tidy throughout the shift.
* Support dishwashing, glass collection, and general cleanliness.
* Respond to guest questions or concerns in a professional, approachable manner.
* Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
* Manage time effectively, especially during busy bar and restaurant hours.
* Perform additional work-related tasks as directed by supervisors or management.
Skills and Qualifications
* Strong hospitality mindset with a genuine passion for customer service.
* Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices (training provided if needed).
* Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a busy bar/restaurant setting.
* Basic math skills for handling cash and card transactions accurately.
* Prior experience in a pub, bar, or restaurant is preferred but not required — full training provided.
* Team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently when needed.
* Friendly, professional demeanor with strong verbal communication skills.
* Willingness to assist across bar, restaurant, and kitchen duties.
