Overview
C&B Recruitment are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop in Burton. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing various types of vehicles. This is a hands‑on role that requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work with power tools and hand tools. Responsibilities
* Assemble and disassemble vehicle components according to specifications
* Use power tools and hand tools to perform repairs and maintenance tasks
* Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and troubleshoot problems
* Repair or replace faulty parts and components
* Follow schematics and technical manuals to ensure proper installation and repair procedures
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
* Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects
Experience
* Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role preferred
* Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
* Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment
* Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
* Experience with equipment repair and maintenance
* Welding experience is a plus
* Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
