Job Description:
What you will be doing:
* Training groups of new firefighting recruits in both classroom and practical environments
* Instructing new recruits in operational and Road Traffic Collision Incidents (RTCI) as well as the fundamentals of firefighting
* Ongoing assessment of delegates
* Acting as Safety Officer during live fire exercises - always promoting a positive attitude towards the development and maintenance of Health and Safety culture
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience of training new recruits in a firefighting training environment
* Experience of working in a local authority Fire & Rescue Service is desirable
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Basic understanding of IT systems (MS Office)
