Veterinary Surgeon – Emergency Out of Hours (9 Month FTC)
New Priory Vets are welcoming applications from clinicians with a passion for ECC who are interested in joining their team on a full‑time, 9‑month fixed‑term contract.
At our RCVS‑accredited practice in Brighton we offer a sustainable approach to ECC night work with split shifts (4:30 pm–12:30 am or 10:30 pm–9:30 am). This structure allows you to pursue your ECC passion without burnout.

Our veterinary team includes on‑site specialists, advanced practitioners and certificate holders in cardiorespiratory medicine, imaging, endoscopy, surgery, dentistry and emergency & critical care. Our RVNs hold a variety of certificates and are supported by dedicated NAs, SVNs and receptionists, along with friendly managers and directors.
Our state‑of‑the‑art equipment includes extensive point‑of‑care diagnostics, a recently upgraded CT and a cardiac suite with dedicated ultrasound. We hold regular team and M & M meetings to ensure excellent governance for our clients.
