The Senior Project Manager will play a critical part in delivering large‑scale energy infrastructure projects, managing multiple stakeholders and ensuring excellence across the full project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
* Participating in meetings with clients and subcontractors to align project objectives, scope, and expectations.
* Developing and implementing comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and resource allocation.
* Coordinating and collaborating with cross‑functional teams (engineering, procurement, construction, etc.) to ensure successful project execution.
* Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure timely and high‑quality delivery.
* Managing project budgets and ensuring adherence to financial constraints and internal governance requirements.
* Regularly reporting project status, milestones, risks, and performance to senior management and key stakeholders.
* Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and vendors, establishing and maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
* Engaging with stakeholders to gather project requirements, resolve conflicts, and ensure project objectives are met in line with METLEN standards.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
* 10+ years of relevant project management experience, preferably within the energy sector.
* Proven experience managing multiple energy‑related projects in parallel.
* Previous experience in project management on Power Plant projects (Thermal and/or HVDC preferred).
* Strong capability to work independently while effectively managing teams, interfaces, and budgets.
* Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve outstanding results.
* Fluency in English; an additional European language is considered an advantage.
* International work experience.
* MSc and/or MBA will be considered an asset.
