We are seeking a Safeguarding professional to join a well known organisation in the heart of Chelmsford. You will provide vital support and expert guidance on complex cases involving both children and adults.
The organisation are committed to providing a safe environment for children and vulnerable adults and this position will be key in dealing with relevant policies and procedures needed to mitigate any risk.
Package Details:
Starting salary circa £37,000
Working Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00

Manage and investigate a dedicated caseload while maintaining accurate digital records.
Advise and provide guidance on safeguarding enquiries whilst building relationships with stakeholders.
Conduct risk evaluations and create formal safeguarding agreements.
Act as a lead advisor to local volunteers and staff members.
Facilitate core group meetings and coordinate support for those affected by abuse.
Collaborate with statutory partners including the Police and Social Care teams.
Ensure GDPR is stuck to and any other general related admin tasks.Requirements
At least two years of experience managing safeguarding cases and assessing risk within a statutory or similar sector
A Social Work degree or similar qualification is highly desirable.
Recent specialist training in child protection, adult safeguarding, or domestic abuse.
Strong communication skills and a clear understanding of trauma informed practice.
Proven resilience and the ability to work collaboratively in challenging environments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a clean driving licence with access to a car.
