Night-Time Customer Service Assistant – Edinburgh, Iona Street
Hourly Rate: £13
Working Hours: 9pm – 6am. 2 shifts per week

We’re looking for our next Night-time Customer Service Assistant to deliver a luxury, home-from-home experience for our residents whilst ensuring the upkeep of our premium site & facilities are maintained at the highest standards.
Responsibilities
* Front of House / Reception; greet and welcome students and guests with a warm, friendly and vibrant attitude.
* Be on hand for questions which may arise.
* Maintain the upkeep of our premium site & facilities; communal areas must be cleaned and maintained to a high standard during night-time shifts and quieter night hours.
* Ensure facilities are looked after respectfully by students & guests.
* Deliver solutions to issues or challenges that may arise.
* Conduct block walks every 4-6 hours surveying and reporting every area of the building.
* Replenish refreshment stock (coffee beans, tea, milk, vending machine items).
* Manage & store parcels correctly for easy resident access.
* Act as the primary point of contact for any incident or emergency onsite.
* Maintain waste management areas in accordance with health & safety regulations and address hazards as required.
Professional Experience
* An experienced customer service professional, well-versed in delivering premium experiences to customers.
* Experience with cleaning and maintaining cleanliness and safety of communal areas; hands-on and proactive in approach.
* Technologically astute; comfortable with a variety of technology systems and software used in operations.

* Excellent communication skills; multilingual abilities are welcomed.
* Strong organisational and leadership qualities with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

* Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks, with reasonable adjustments as required.
* Flexibility: facilities are open 24/7; availability to ensure continuous service, with reasonable time-off accommodations where possible.
