Job Description:

A well-established and highly recommended school in Berkshire is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Year. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the academic and pastoral care of a specific year group, ensuring that students receive the support and guidance they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the year group, providing support and guidance to both students and staff.
* Monitor and track student progress, implementing interventions where necessary.
* Develop and maintain effective communication with parents and guardians.
* Foster a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting high standards of behaviour and achievement.
* Organize and oversee year group events, activities, and assemblies.
* Collaborate with other Heads of Year and senior leadership to ensure consistency and continuity across the school.
* Support the personal and social development of students, addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.
