We’re looking for a Cascade Project Manager to join our team at a pivotal moment, as we deliver the landmark Celebrating the Cascade project. This ambitious capital project is set to enhance and protect some of our most treasured spaces and assets. You’ll play a vital role in supporting our funding strategy, ensuring its seamless and safe delivery-coordinating moving parts, engaging stakeholders, and navigating the day-to-day operational challenges of a live public site. About Us Chatsworth House Trust (CHT) is an independent charity dedicated to the long-term preservation of Chatsworth House, the art collection, garden, woodlands and park for the benefit of everyone with a mission as a home of creativity and community and a driver of positive change. Our Operations team is the engine behind the maintenance, compliance, and transformation of the house and surrounding estate. We manage everything from essential maintenance to major capital works. With the Celebrating the Cascade project underway, now is an incredibly exciting time to be part of our story. The Role As Cascade Project Manager, you’ll take the lead in coordinating the internal delivery of this multi-faceted construction project. You’ll be the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the project aligns with timelines, budgets, and safety standards-all while keeping public access and day-to-day operations running smoothly. You will: Maintain and manage the full project programme, budget, risk register and reporting systems. Act as the operational link between contractors, consultants, internal teams and external partners including The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Ensure construction activities align with health and safety procedures and do not disrupt daily operations or public experiences. Support Board-level reporting and facilitate key meetings and reviews. Promote our brand values-Decency, Always Improving, and Being Inclusive-in every part of your work. This is a fixed-term contract for a period of 24 months working 40 hours per week, with flexibility to suit contractor operations. This could include some evening or weekend work as required. About you We’re seeking someone with: Proven experience in project management, especially construction or capital projects involving the public. Confident coordination and communication skills, able to bring clarity and calm to complexity. Excellent planning, budgeting, and IT skills (MS Project and Excel in particular). A commitment to safety, inclusivity, and collaborative working. A flexible, can-do attitude, willing to pitch in and adapt to evolving circumstances. While not essential, it would be great if you had experience of working on The Heritage Fund - funded projects.
