Job Description
I am working with a reputable, industry leading business based in Thirsk who are looking for an experienced and driven Assistant Management Accountant to join their thriving team.
Responsibilities will include:
* Preparing monthly management accounts to trial balance
* Conduct variance analysis of actuals vs budget
* Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and journal postings
* Support finance assistant and reviewing of bank reconciliations/ keeping cashbook posting up to date
* Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns including C79 reconciliations
* Help manage purchase ledger around month end including cashflow
* Input of payroll journals and analysis of data
* Aid with preparation of budgets/revenue forecast
* Credit card expenses
* Sales invoicing reconciliations
* Invoice discounting
* Trouble shooting/housekeeping
