The role - Quantity Surveyor
As a Quantity Surveyor you will be a valuable part of the team and will be reporting into the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager for the project. The project is a £50m healthcare project in Liverpool and you will be responsible for the following duties (including but not limited to):
* Preparation of bills and/or schedules for quantities of materials, labour and services required in the construction and refurbishment of building works in relation to both Estimating and Post contract duties.
* Cost reporting.
* Preparation and valuation of progress and submission to client.
* Sub-contract procurement including sending out enquiries, collating prices, negotiation, order placement.
* Sub-contract valuations and payments in connection with any contract.
Required skills/knowledge:
* A degree/equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
* Have a strong main contracting background.
* At least 2-5 years post graduate experience.
