We are a high-volume sweets retailer seeking a proactive and hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced warehouse environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising warehouse activities, managing pickers and packers, and ensuring customer orders are dispatched accurately and on time. This role requires strong leadership, excellent time management, the ability to multitask, and a calm approach under pressure. We pride ourselves on our efficient order processing and timely dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including loading and unloading deliveries
* Safely and efficiently operate standard warehouse equipment
* Operate food production machinery (Level 2 Food Hygiene certification will be required to be taken)
* Oversee order packing and the generation of postage labels
* Manage stock ordering and inventory levels
* Lead, motivate, and support warehouse staff
* Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
* Conduct regular inspections of equipment and storage areas to maintain safety standards
* Work closely with the office team to ensure stock availability and timely replenishment
* Help pack customer orders, including bulk Amazon orders

This is a hands on busy role
We will consider either one full timer or two part timers for this role. Saturday hours will be required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 14 – 40 per week
