Job Title: Store Planner - Internal Only

This is why we need YOU, our newest Store Planner, to help us build new stores that will do just that!
Location: We operate a hybrid working policy, with 2 days in our Milton Keynes Offices per week, the rest you can work from wherever works best for you! (This may be up to 4 days per week on occasion, but you can expect to work from the office 2 days per week regularly).
Within this role, there will also be some travel required to different Homebase locations across the UK.
The role
As our newest Store Planner, you will assist with the site and internal planning phases and design of Homebase stores. You will maintain design consistency and ensure that the necessary operational, merchandise, statutory, and other requirements are incorporated into and met by the design in the most economical and functional manner
What will you be doing?
* Planning and design for multiple stages of potential development & redevelopment locations, sourced by the Estate Manager. These may vary in scope, size, and frequency, depending on business needs.
* Bringing concept ideas to life on store plans
* Working on multiple site projects at once
* Prepare CAD perspectives, renderings, and/or movies of proposed developments as required
* Review Consultants drawings, contractors’ contracts, and shop drawings for suitability, accuracy, and compliance with Homebase standards
What you need to be successful:
* Design, Building, Engineering or Drafting qualification (Desirable)
* Experience in Design and drafting in a retail environment (Desirable)
* Strong Design and Documentation skills, ArchiCAD experience (Essential)
* High-level interpersonal / communication skills / Creative thinker / Problem solver (Essential)
