Electrical Project Engineer
Permanent - M6 Corridor, £50,000 - £55,000 DOE + Package
The Business
Working with an established and highly regarded electrical company, covering various sectors such as Commercial, Critical, Industrial, and Utilities. They are a dynamic, multi-discipline company providing high-quality service and support. Carrying out a wide variety of electrical work for their customers, predominantly in the Cumbria and Lancashire area.

Electrical Project Engineer Responsibilities:
* Liaise with customers to develop and propose engineering solutions to customer requirements
* Prepare tender packages and the production of quotations
* Plan the delivery of agreed solutions and manage from quotation stage right through to commissioning and completion, including organizing the labor working on the project and materials
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including all aspects of Health and Safety on a project
* Production of drawings and documentation for control systems/electrical systems
* Fault find if required on existing control systems or provide technical assistance to site staff
* Completion of safety documentation, pre-start checklists, and point of work risk assessments
* The accurate completion of in-house compliance documentation
* Ensure that all accidents/incidents and near misses are reported within the Company guidelines
* Carry out all work activities safely and in line with RAMS and in line with training
* Completion of electrical isolations for all relevant works
Essential Experience:
* At least five years relevant professional experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager
* A relevant electrical engineering qualification
* Controls / Control Panel experience
* Experience in planning and delivering projects from start to final handover
* Health and safety awareness and the ability to produce method statements and risk assessments
* The ability to prioritize work and work to deadlines
* Excellent communication skills
Critical Experience:
* Previous experience with electrical design, being able to design electrical drawings for electricians to use for projects
