Work Environment
Employment Advisors operate in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, where prioritisation and exceptional time management are essential to ensure effective caseload management, working to deadlines, and achieving KPI and target expectations in a community-based, mobile setting.
Minimum Experience and Skills
* 2+ years’ experience in a target-driven environment
* Ability to manage a caseload of participants with various barriers to employment (e.g., health, wellbeing, skills)
* Experience working with external stakeholders, including employers, local authorities, health services, or voluntary sector organizations
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Achieve service delivery KPIs, targets, and outcomes
* Engage participants referred to the Restart programme, assessing their support and development needs, and co-producing action plans toward sustainable employment
* Maintain real-time updates of the database to ensure quality interventions are recorded, and utilize reporting and management information effectively
* Build and sustain excellent relationships with key local stakeholders, supporting participant development from Jobcentre Plus to employers and community organizations, ensuring positive outcomes and avoiding support duplication
* Provide in-work support to help individuals maintain employment, identifying and addressing risks to sustained employment
* Manage caseload independently and effectively by organising a varied timetable of activities, including one-to-one meetings, job clubs, group sessions, and innovative interventions tailored to participant needs
