Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Linerless Operator to assist in the setup, operation, and monitoring of Ravenwood linerless labelling equipment. This role plays a key part in ensuring products are labelled accurately and efficiently to meet production targets and quality standards.
Previous experience operating Ravenwood linerless presses, or coating machines is highly desirable, but not essential.Experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is a plus. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
2. Set up, operate, and monitor Ravenwood linerless coating machine.
3. Ensure production runs meet quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
4. Assist with loading label rolls, inks, and materials into the machine.
5. Report any faults, misprints, or downtime issues to the Line Leader or Engineer immediately.
6. Follow production schedules and instructions provided by the Supervisor.
7. Carry out basic cleaning and routine checks on the machine.
8. Keep the work area clean, safe, and organised.
9. Complete basic documentation such as production logs or quality checks.
Requirements:
10. Experience working in a manufacturing, packaging, or production environment
11. Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
12. Willingness to learn and operate specialised machinery.
13. Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and handle materials.
14. Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
15. Flexible approach to shift work, including evenings or weekends if required.
Desirable (but not essential):
16. Previous experience with label printing or Ravenwood linerless systems.
17. Basic mechanical or troubleshooting knowledge.
