Having been set up in 1985 as an internship programme to support young people, we now manage a variety of roles across a mix of sectors including Engineering, IT, Marketing, Professional Services, and the Public Sector. Step is a preferred partner with The University of Greenwich, promoting their Industrial Placement programme for their international master’s students, based at their Medway campus Faculty of Engineering and Science. This placement will give you the opportunity to develop skills in the following areas: Presenting to a wide audience using Microsoft Teams and in person Improved proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including data analysis and reporting using Excel Communication skills through both business and student engagement Knowledge of CRM, Applicant Tracking and other software platforms A better awareness of the graduate recruitment landscape. Specific duties include: Administration – coordination of the student registration and placement processes, including data management in CRM and producing reports IT – management and maintenance of inhouse systems and tools Delivering employability workshops via teams and in-person engagement sessions Satisfaction Survey analysis and production of case studies Essential Skills: Experience of working on a project Flexibility Good Communication Sound IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) About You: You will have excellent written and verbal communication, a willingness to learn and enjoy working in a team. Further Information There is an element of travel to visit the university to engage directly with the students throughout the year. This is a paid sandwich placement suitable for undergraduate students looking for a 12 month placement from July 2025. This role is open to any programme of study but would be most suitable for those following a business or humanities related course. It is unlikely to be suitable for a student following an Engineering or Science related subject.
