CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting a Mechanical Ventilation Engineer to be Based in Buckinghamsire. He or she will be required to carry out Planned Maintenance and reactive maintenance on Ventilation systems. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance or commercial settings. In return, my client is offering a very competitive package including: Monday to Friday 8:00 am-17:00 pm 25 days holiday Bank Holidays Tablet & Work Phone Provided Full company uniform Tons of overtime Paying up to £44k Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08:00 am to 17:00 pm Key Responsibilities: Execute scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) routines on all ventilation equipment, including Air Handling Units (AHUs), extraction systems, fans, motors, dampers, VAV/VRF systems, and ductwork. Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns, diagnosing complex mechanical faults and implementing effective, long-term repairs. Conduct detailed inspections of ductwork systems, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with industry standards. Perform essential tasks such as belt replacement, bearing lubrication, filter changes, and fan speed adjustments/balancing. Collaborate closely with the wider HVAC and M&E teams to ensure system synergy and efficiency. Oversee and manage specialist sub-contractors when necessary, ensuring all work adheres to site standards and specifications. Requirements: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent City & Guilds qualification) in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or Ventilation Systems. Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in maintaining and installing large-scale mechanical ventilation systems, preferably within commercial, industrial, or critical environments.
