Overview
We are recruiting a skilled CNC Turner to join our client on a permanent basis in Nelson. This role has been created as part of succession planning for a member of staff retiring.
Responsibilities
* Programme, set and operate CNC Lathes utilizing Fanuc controls.
* Run multiple machines and work with varied materials.
* Perform in process inspection using hand measuring equipment.
* Keep the working area clean, tidy and organised.
Qualifications
* Time-served with demonstrable experience operating a CNC Lathe working to very tight tolerances.
* Experience using Fanuc controls to Programme, Set and Operate the machines.
* Experience working on single spindle and twin spindle Lathes; experience with a range of materials including Stainless, Aluminium, Inconel.
Hours
Hours - Monday - Thursday 0800 - 5 / Friday 8-1 OR Mon - Thurs 6-2/ Friday 6-1
