Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them thrive despite the challenges they face? Do you believe in the power of empathy, empowerment, and connection to change lives? We’re looking for a compassionate and committed Support Worker (Young Carers ) to join our dynamic team, providing vital one-to-one and group support to young carers across Perth & Kinross.
Please note: This role involves travel, so a valid driver’s license and access to your own vehicle are essential.
In this role, you’ll:
Offer outcome-focused, individual support to help young carers manage the impact of their caring roles.
Facilitate engaging group activities and respite sessions that give young carers the opportunity to connect, recharge, and just be kids.
Build strong relationships with young people, families, schools, and partner organisations to create a network of trusted support.
Advocate for young carers, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs recognised in all areas of life.
