Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. As a Motorhome dealership, part of the Fiat Professional network, we require someone with expertise in routine servicing and repairs on various vans and trucks.
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a range of Van and truck based vehicles
* Diagnose and repair faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment
* E nsure that work is carried out to the highest standard and in a timely and clean manner
* Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately
* Liaise with customers and ensure vehicles are repaired on time as per customers expectations
* E nsure compliance with health and safety regulations and legislation
* Work effectively as part of a team with other motorhome technicians who work on vehicle habitation areas
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Vehicle Technicians to develop their skills and contribute to the success of our business. The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Mechanic, ideally with a Level 3 certificate in light vehicle maintenance and repair
* Excellent knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes
* Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to diagnose faults using supplied diagnostic equipment
* A relevant qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair such as NVQ level 3 or equivalent
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
* The ability to work as an individual or as part of a team
* A full UK driving licence
