Job Description:
The Role: Checking quality requirements for all products manufactured by Deli Lites, ensuring that products are manufactured in line with Product Specifications, Food Safety, Food Legality, and Factory Hygiene Standards. Reporting any NCRs and GMP issues.
As Night Shift Quality Controller, you will uphold the quality, legality, and authenticity of all our values at DELI LITES and give customers the opportunity to achieve their extraordinary results through our passion for people and food. Your Duties:
* Safeguard your own safety and that of others while performing duties.
* Support the Deli Lites Quality Team.
* Ensure compliance with company procedures for Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene.
* Approve in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating adjustments.
* Approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting tests, and managing re-work.
* Complete paperwork and records of checks, including weight, temperature, label, metal detection, and checkweigher checks.
* Communicate Internal and Supplier Non-Conformances via Daily Quality Reports.
* Maintain measurement equipment and highlight repairs if needed.
* Support production to prevent use of sub-standard ingredients and ensure product safety and quality.
* Assist NPD and Production teams during production trials.
* Report issues that may compromise food safety, legality, or quality.
* Perform any other reasonable work instructions from supervisors and managers.
Desired Criteria:
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Energetic, enthusiastic, and creative.
* Strong planning and organizational skills.
* IT literate.
* Experience in a Food Industry Quality Department.
