They willdemonstrateknowledge and skills in the screening of asymptomatic patients forsexually transmitted infections,providingsimple advice to support patient wellbeing and enable an individual's decision making.
Supports the administrative team, covering the reception area, booking patient appointments both at walk in clinics and through the central booking system,signposting prospective patients seeking advice for their Sexual Healthneeds.
Promotes treatment,controland prevention of the spread of STIs including HIV,offeringpatients basic information,supportand health education in a safe, friendly,non-judgementaland confidential environment, both within the service and in partnership settings.
