We are looking for a proactive and experienced Operational Support Officer to lead the administrative function within our Safeguarding Adults Team. This is a key supervisory role, responsible for overseeing the work of the Operational Support Clerk and ensuring the delivery of efficient, high-quality support to the team.
You will work closely with safeguarding professionals, contributing to the smooth running of safeguarding processes and helping maintain robust systems that support adults at risk.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and support the Operational Support Clerk, providing guidance, training, and performance oversight.
* Coordinate and manage administrative workflows to support safeguarding enquiries, meetings, and casework.
* Maintain and develop systems for tracking safeguarding activity, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Liaise with internal departments and external agencies to facilitate effective communication and information sharing.
* Prepare reports, collate data, and support the team in meeting performance and audit requirements.
* Ensure confidentiality and data protection standards are upheld across all administrative processes.
* Contribute to service improvement initiatives and support the implementation of new procedures.
